Sheeran delivered everything you'd expect from a person in his position: equivocating, meaningless bullshit that was most likely written by someone else.

More reasons not to ever pay attention to Ed Sheeran—not that I've ever intentionally listened to any of his music. There are just so many choices he could have made to handle this differently, but he just went with the most basic, toothless, and cowardly approach. I definitely don't think every individual has to have an opinion on every political matter in the world, but being against genocide seems like a pretty simple one so enabling the silence of someone who has spoken up to support the Palestinian people seems like a pretty idiotic thing to do. Just be human for gods sake.
