26 September 2023 newsletter tv

there’s a secret we want to know

how to live in the 21st century
All the TV That’s Fit to Stream

Intro

So this is my tv newsletter that you are seeing on this site now… In an effort to move away from Substack, I think I’m going to start posting these here instead and maybe fire up a Buttondown newsletter as a weekly recap instead. We will see… still figuring things out, but after today, these will live here only and won’t be coming from Substack.

And onto the meat and potatoes

Two new spin-off shows out this week.

First is the super successful Castlevania, which I’m guessing is only pitched as a spin-off to shed the previous head writer, but that’s not something we need to get into right now. I could be wrong anyways…

Then Amazon’s The Boys gets a spin-off in Gen V, which is like a high school / X-Men deal set in the same world? Could be pretty cool.

I still don’t know how I’m going to incorporate movies into foofaraw so instead, I’ve got some movie trailers at the end of this issue.
