Been paying very close attention to the Ukraine news the last few days… my paternal grandparents were born there and I technically have a bunch of family there mostly in Kyiv, although I’ve never personally met them (my cousin has gone out there a couple times). It’s a weird feeling to have ties, but still feel so separated, especially with everything going on right now.
