I was probably one of the few people who noticed Longley’s omission on the first watch of The Last Dance last year and I absolutely adored this.
Growing up as a kid in Chicago during the MJ years, especially the last three when basketball was a huge part of my life, the Bulls meant everything to me. MJ and Scottie were obviously rockstars, but as a kid who was always trying to be different, it was Rodman, Toni, and Luc for me.
I didn’t know much about Luc pre- or post- Chicago so getting a glimpse into who he was and who he is was a joy. If you’re interested in basketball or the 90’s Bulls, I highly recommend spending an hour with Mr. Longley.
