The Grand Budapest Hotel is one of my all-time favorite movies. I love the quirkiness in Wes Anderson movies, but it was Moonrise Kingdom where I really fell in love, and he went to a-whole-nother level with GBH. I (ashamedly) haven’t seen The Royal Tennanbaums or The Fantastic Mr. Fox, but my guess is, he took a lot of lessons away from the stop-motion in FMF, which were fully realized in GBH and it looks like we are getting much the same here in that respect.
