Little live accoustic set from the Dropkick Murphy’s to celebrate the Liverpool Champions Lague victory. Not the best game of soccer, but Allison was excellent in goal.
Liverpool was lucky to get the early penalty on the Sissoko hand ball. I hate to see games decided by penalties, especially when it’s a pretty close call like this one. Ultimately, Liverpool was able to get the second goal from Origi which makes me feel a little better about it. Neither side played especially well. Tottenham dominated possession and they definitely made Allison work, but Liverpool forced the tempo early and often, which essentially was what won it for them.
In the end, Liverpool are Champions and now I can’t wait until the Premier League starts up again.
