I’d love to see Griezmann at Liverpool, but I’d want his role to align more with how he played for France than for Atletico, allowing him to share the field with Salah, Mane, and Firmino. Keeping the three-headed monster, Griezmann plays as an attacking midfielder, allowing him to control the possession attack, with Fabinho and Wijnaldum as the defensive midfielders in front of Alexander-Arnold, van Djik, Gomez1, and Robertson.

yes Gomez, not Matip. I thought Liverpool was much better with Gomez and his injury was a big reason why they eventually fell short, well, that and the lack of goals from the midfield. Problem solved with Griezmann, eh?↩︎
