For as much as I love the Duplass brothers, I haven’t seen nearly enough of the stuff they’ve made. This one, written by Mark and Alex Lehmann, who also directed, stars Mark Duplass and Ray Romano, and I’m all for the Romanossaince.
Alex Lehmann, according to /Film, has one other feature film under his belt, Blue Jay, which starred Jay, the other Duplass brother. Apparently it was critically acclaimed in 2016, so it’s shot to the top of my to-watch list.
Paddleton will be released on Netflix, February 22, making it the second big Netflix release I’m looking forward to after Velvet Buzzsaw.
