Malika Andrews:

Chicago-based hand specialists have recommended Bulls rookie Wendell Carter undergo surgery to repair a left thumb injury. If Carter opts to have the surgery, the recovery time is 8-12 weeks.

Bummer. This would basically be the end of the season for Carter if he opted for surgery. Sucks to see someone miss significant time at a young age while he is still learning and developing his game in the NBA. Hopefully, he takes time to watch film and works hard over the summer to come back even stronger for the Bulls.
