🧪 Ready for vibe VLOOKUP?

Microsoft launches ‘vibe working’ in Excel and Word
Vibe working is all about Office’s new Agent Mode.

I can't help but laugh a little at the timing given that the term 'workslop' was coined last week. Beyond the giggle, the writeup is worth it to learn about SpreadsheetBench and how Microsoft thinks about evaluating accuracy when it comes to 'vibe work'.

🏈 Why Defector is intervening to make public a confidential document in the Tyreek Hill case

Defector

Marks said he received threats from Schneiderman saying that if any financial harm came to Hill because of the court document, “his client will pursue all available remedies against me, my client, and my firm, and me, personally.” A second person on Hill’s legal team, Marks said, made similar threats to him as well.

Similar to the last one from 404, another example of these small independent outlets shining a light on things that the powers that be would rather have kept on the shadows.

Common threads animating this violent conduct include anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity; support for the overthrow of the United States Government; extremism on migration, race, and gender; and hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family, religion, and morality.

◼️ ‘The Bear’ writer Alex O’Keefe says he was handcuffed & detained by police after “an old white woman” on a train complained about him

Deadline

O’Keefe, who is Black, says “an old white woman got on the train and immediately pointed at me and told me to correct how I was sitting.” He says he refused and subsequently was “pulled off, handcuffed, and detained” by police.

The article, Instagram post, and video are terrible enough as it is, then you scroll down to the comments… Sitting while black. Wonderful to see that this is where our tax money goes—sending four cops after a guy on a train who didn't break any laws.
