Jason Kottke, after quoting a piece from the BBC:
Employees that worry less about debt, healthcare, or where their next meal is coming from are happier, more productive employees. Imagine that.
There’s a lot to say here about what people can do when their most basic needs are met. A lesson we feel very far from materializing in any meaningful way. Instead selfishness rules the day. I’ll leave it there for now1.
