It’s safe to say I did not expect this. I had no idea they were even back together, let alone wrapping up a new album.
There’s no release date as far as I can tell for the new record, but BALISONG is the lead single, and I dig it.
BALISONG loses some of the melancholy feel from them and Greenwald’s voice doesn’t hit me like it used to, but it still has a rythm reminiscent of the band I remember while also sounding a bit more polished, upbeat, and new.
