This looks awesome and it’s fascinating that Jonah Hill is the person behind it as both writer and director. The stylized nature of it really lends itself to the story and the time, giving it the authenticity a lot of films aim for but rarely achieve.
It has a scheduled release of October 19, which gives some credence to the quality for awards season. Just imagine Jonah Hill, the guy from Superbad, getting a nod at the Oscar’s as either a writer or director, after already having two supporting actor nominations.
