I’ve been constantly disappointed by recent Seth Rogan movies considering Pineapple Express is one of my favorite movies ever. This movie looks to have the potential to break that curse. Having Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie by his side look like welcome additions. It’s also being directed by Jonathan Levine who previously directed 50/50 which wasn’t bad (and also starred Rogan and JGL).
There are some incredibly funny scenes in the trailer, so hopefully it isn’t a case of giving away all the good footage.
