AT&T will be launching SnapperHero. A 12 episode show that will be released through Snapchat. Surprisingly, it will not be a part of Snapchat’s new Discovery feature but through a Snapchat Story as part of it’s own account, @SnapperHero. As Stories do, each episode will disappear after 24 hours.
Apparently, it will be starring some YouTube and Vine stars from videos such as Video Game High School and Epic Meal Time, both of which I know nothing about.
I continue to be entranced with Snapchat and think they can do some great things. This will surely be an interesting experiment. If done well, they will hopefully become a part of Discovery, leading to a bigger audience and could eventually place Snapchat as a viable platform to release content.
