PG: Kris Dunn
SG: Josh Hart
SF: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
PF: Domantas Sabonis
C: Harry Giles Jr.
Disappointed with Dunn’s injury, which will continue to set him back, but defensively he’s already a stud. With a consistent jumper and a reduction in turnovers, he can turn into a great all around PG.
Josh Hart is a stretch for this list since he’s already getting his due, inserted into the starting lineup, but he’s a guy that’s going to do everything for you at the two position, including knocking down shots.
I’ve been riding for MKG since he entered the league. He may not be a great shooter, but he’s an energy guy, all over the court and if he gets utilized correctly, which it looks like they might do as a more Draymond Green role, he should become even more effective.
Domantas Sabonis is already starting to prove himself with Indiana, but if Indiana is going to take a step up, which will be extremely difficult, it will be because guys like Sabonis start to find their place and have a bigger impact.
Lastly, I truly believe Harry Giles Jr. is going to be a star. Offensively, there’s nothing he can’t do. He’s in a tricky situation in Sacramento, where they have a lot of bugs, and the focus is on Marvin Bagley Jr., but Giles should still have ample opportunity prove himself in the league.
